The Charlottesville Model Club is a general modelling enthusiast group which is sponsored by Rail Tales.

The club is open to new members and meets on the Second Saturday of every month at the Rail Tales Workshop location starting at 4:30 pm. This immediately follows the Rail Tales store painting demonstration. Meetings last until we all get tired of having fun or we have to leave to get up for work or our wives call.
All modelling subjects are covered from railroading to wood ships to plastic models. Most of our enthusiasts appreciate all aspects of model making but have a current favorite.
